At ARCAIG, we can provide cost plans for estimating, budgeting and controlling costs throughout a project’s lifecycle, in order to ensure it stays within the approved budget while meeting quality and scope requirements. It starts at the concept stage and continues until project completion.
We can also carry out feasibility studies which provide a detailed analysis before starting a project, in order to determine whether it is viable, practical, and financially justifiable. It helps investors, developers, and project owners decide whether to proceed, modify, or abandon a proposed project.
We provide the full suite of quantity surveying services which range from cost management of individual packages all the way through to full financial control of projects from RIBA stages 0 to 7.
We are also able to provide full commercial management duties to business who are looking to maximise profitability and mitigate risk. This can include profit and loss monitoring, risk allocation, cash flow and revenue optimisation, supply chain management, etc.
We are able to provide full project management services from inception to completion of a project. The duties include but are not limited to development of a project plan, risk and budget management, procurement coordination and stake holder engagement.
We also provide a programming and scheduling package for a project. This is already provided within our project management services but can be procured as a separate service if required. This includes project planning and milestones, as well as identifying critical activities and aiding in time impact analysis.
We are experts in contract administration. Whether it be a JCT, NEC or FIDIC standard form of contract. We are also able to advise on bespoke forms of contract and framework agreements. This service includes advice, management and enforcement of the terms and conditions of the contract.
We can also act as the employer’s agent (EA) to act on behalf of the client (employer) in administering and managing the construction contract. This role is more commonly required under a JCT Design and Build (D&B) form of contract.
At ARCAIG, we are able to undertake fund monitoring roles on projects where an independent financial oversight is required by a lender, investor or funding institution. The service may include an initial appraisal report followed by monthly progress reports, as well as a practical completion report at the end of the project. This improves project transparency for the lender and reduces their financial risk.
We work closely with many banks, private equity firms and development finance institutions, which means we are able to provide independent advice when it comes to development finance on a particular project. We cover residential developments, commercial buildings including mixed use schemes, as well as refurbishment projects.
We provide independent advice on claims and disputes which require either an informal or formal resolution. Claims arising from loss, delay and additional costs are all covered.
We are also able to act formally on behalf of our clients if the dispute resolution process takes place privately through arbitration or publicly through litigation in court.
We not only provide advice and services to our clients in relation to construction projects, but we also invest ourselves in real estate and developments. Our portfolio varies from land acquisition to BRRRR investments.
If you are looking for a professional and experienced investment partner or looking to sell land with a potential to develop, we are always open to considering new opportunities.
At ARCAIG, we value health and safety as the utmost of our priorities. Following the tragic events that happened at Grenfell and the subsequent reforms that have taken place in legislation since then such as the Building Safety Act 2022, ARCAIG has worked closely with several stakeholders in order to make buildings safe.
We bring our expertise and work directly with residents and RTM’s and assist them with Cladding Safety Scheme applications through Homes England. As well as working with contractors and developers in order to meet current compliance. We have successfully advised on high-risk building (HRB) applications to the Building Safety Regulator (BSR) which demonstrates our knowledge and understanding of the critical safety checkpoints now in place.
